Best Developer

Must have completed at least 2 residential, commercial, hospitality developments in Cambodia since January 2018.

*Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Boutique Developer

Must have completed at least one boutique residential, commercial or hospitality developments in Cambodia since January 2018.

*Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Sustainable Developer

Must have completed at least one sustainable development in Cambodia since 2018. Sustainable developers consistently implement environmentally sensitive design features, use low impact construction materials, and install energy, waste efficient systems.

*Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Breakthrough Developer

Must have launched first project during or after 2022 and have at least one new project in the pipeline to be launched before the end of 2023.

*Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Lifestyle Developer

Must have completed at least one lifestyle developments in Cambodia from 2018 to present. Lifestyle developers offer additional facilities in all their projects for residents to enhance their living experience, such as swimming pools, health and fitness areas, social spaces, children’s playgrounds, convenience stores.

*Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Commercial Developer

Must have completed at least one commercial developments in Cambodia from 2018 to present. Commercial developments include office and/or retail projects.

Best Hospitality Developer

Must have completed at least one hospitality developments in Cambodia from 2018 to present. Hospitality developments include hotel and resort projects.

Must have completed at least one industrial developments in Cambodia from 2018 to present. Industrial developments include manufacturing and/or logistics sector projects.

Must have completed at least one mixed use developments in Cambodia from 2018 to present. Mixed-Use developments should include a minimum of two interconnected components: residential, retail, office, hospitality, medical, entertainment etc

Open to condominiums and apartments which located less than 400m from closest transit station (Multi Modal Transport) or major highways.The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. Must have a show unit.

Open to developments with more than 4 units of houses and/or villas which located less than 400m from closest transit station (Multi Modal Transport) or major highways.The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. Must have a show unit

Open to a project with shared and own workspace amenity as part of a housing/apartment/condo project that can be used only by residents/tenants. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. Must have show unit

Open to condominiums and apartments which located no further than 1km from a body of water like a lake, river, canal, or ocean. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. Must have a show unit

Open to condominiums and apartments that demonstrate the use of sustainable materials, technology or techniques but do not have official green certification. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. Must have show unit

Best Eco Friendly Housing Development

Open to developments with more than 4 units of houses and/or villas that demonstrate the use of sustainable materials, technology or techniques but do not have official green certification. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. Must have show unit

Best Pet Friendly Residential Development

Open to condominiums, apartments, houses and villas. The project must allow residents to keep pets within their property and common areas. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. Must have show unit

Best Senior Living Development

Open to residential projects that offer facilities and services that especially cater to senior citizens, such as daily fitness activities, onsite healthcare, senior-friendly surroundings and social programmes. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. Must have a show unit

Best Wellness Residential Development 

Open to residential projects that include a variety of facilities that cater to residents health and wellness. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026.  Must have a show unit.

Best Coastal Residential Development

Open to condominiums, apartments, houses and villas. The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. Must have a show unit. Eligible projects should be located in Sihanoukville,Kampot and Koh Kong.

Best Smart Home Development   

Open to residential projects that use internet-connected devices to enable the remote monitoring and management of appliances and systems, such as lighting, temperature and security.The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. All shortlisted residential developments are eligible. 

Best Office Development     

Open to office buildings. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.

Best Retail Development     

Open to retail developments with more than 20,000 GFA. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026.

Best Hotel Development     

Open to hotel developments. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026.

Best Resort Development     

Open to resort developments. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026.

Best Mixed Use Development

Open to Mixed Use developments with two or more components, including residential, office, retail, hospitality, medical and entertainment. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026.

Best Industrial Development

Open to Industrial developments. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026. Industrial developments include manufacturing and/or logistics sector projects.

Best Leisure Development

Open to developments that offer members and/or visitors a range of leisure facilities including exercise, sport, fitness and wellnesss options. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.

Best Educational Development

Open to developments that offer students a range of dedicated educational facilities such as study areas, libraries, computer and science labs, art speces etc. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.

Best Medical Development

Open to developments that offer patients a range of medical facilities, including operationg theatres, equipped consultation and treatment rooms, recovery wards and/or private rooms The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.

Best Heritage Development

Open to projects which include traditional elements such as original architectire, art, objects, and cultural references. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.

Best Eco Friendly Commercial Development

Open to Commercial that demonstrate the use of sustainable materials, technology or techniques but do not have official green certification. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026. Must have show unit

Best Renovated Development

Open to projects which feature reconstructed features and renovations that make up more than 20% of the total project.The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026. 

Best Smart Building Development  

Open to commercial projects that use internet-connected devices to enable the remote monitoring and management of appliances and systems, such as lighting, temperature and security.The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and before December 2026. All shortlisted residential developments are eligible. 

Best Green Development

Open to developments with internationally recognized green certification (granted). The developer must submit relevant documents, images and green certifications to support each entry as evidence of: Energy saving systems and technology, water saving systems and technology, waste management systems and technology. Plus specific features that safeguard residents and/or users health. Open for Residential and Commercial Projects. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026.

Best Condo Architectural Design     

The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. General criteria include concept, form, use of space, design innovation, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact.

Best Housing Architectural Design

The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. Criteria is applied to the full masterplan design and includes aesthetics, variety, accessibility, design innovation, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact.

Best Condo Interior Design    

The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. General criteria include interior themes, colours, textures, finishing, functionality, relevance, innovation, safety, health, ease of maintenance.

Best Housing Interior Design    

The development must be completed in the period between January 2022 and December 2026. General criteria include interior themes, colours, textures, finishing, functionality, relevance, innovation, safety, health, ease of maintenance.

Best Retail Architectural Design

The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026. General criteria include concept, form, shape, use of space, design innovation, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact.

Special Recognition in Sustainable Design and Construction

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their Sustainable Design activities. There is no direct entry for this category.  The criteria used to judge developers’ eligibility for this award includes: Environmentally friendly design features, Low impact materials selection, Design durability and lifecycle assessment.

Special Recognition for CSR  

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their CSR activities. There is no direct entry for this category. The criteria used to judge developers’ eligibility for this award includes:
